At X2KEY, we prioritize customer satisfaction while maintaining a fair marketplace for our digital goods sellers. Due to the nature of digital products (game keys, gift cards, software licenses), most items are “consumed” upon viewing or redemption, making returns strictly limited. However, we offer X2KEY Protection to ensure you receive exactly what you paid for.

1. General Refund Policy

All sales are considered final once the product key or account details have been viewed or delivered, except in the specific cases outlined below. Refunds are generally issued as X2KEY Balance (Store Credit) for immediate use, or can be returned to the original payment method upon request (processing times vary by bank).

2. Refundable Scenarios (X2KEY Protection)

You are eligible for a full refund or replacement under the following conditions:

  • Non-Delivery: The seller failed to deliver the product within the guaranteed delivery time (usually 24 hours). You can cancel the order and receive a full refund instantly if the item has not yet been sent.
  • Invalid or Used Key: The key provided is invalid, revoked, or was already redeemed before your purchase. (Proof may be required, such as screenshots of the error message and redemption history).
  • Product Mismatch: The item delivered does not match the product description (e.g., wrong region, wrong platform, different language, or wrong edition).

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

A refund will NOT be issued in the following cases where the error is on the buyer’s end:

  • Buyer’s Remorse: You simply changed your mind after viewing/redeeming the key.
  • Incompatible Hardware/Software: Your device does not meet the minimum requirements for the game or software.
  • Wrong Region/Platform Purchase: You bought a key for the wrong region (e.g., EU instead of US) or platform (e.g., Xbox instead of PC) and have already viewed/revealed the key. *Note: If you have NOT viewed the key, some sellers may agree to a refund at their discretion.*
  • Price Difference: You found the product cheaper elsewhere after purchasing.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact the Seller: Go to your Order History, select the order, and use the “Report Issue” or “Contact Seller” button. Most issues can be resolved directly with the seller (e.g., they can issue a replacement code).
  2. Wait for Response: Sellers are given 24-48 hours to respond and resolve the issue.
  3. Escalate to X2KEY: If the seller does not respond or refuses a valid claim, you can escalate the ticket to X2KEY Support. Our team will investigate the transaction, check the key’s status, and make a final decision based on the evidence provided.

5. Chargebacks and Fraud

Do not file a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider (PayPal, Bank, etc.) before contacting us.

Filing a chargeback without allowing us to resolve the issue first is considered a violation of our Terms of Service. It will result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your X2KEY account and the revocation of all purchased keys clearly identified as unpaid.
